Cleancult is determined to help you clean your home in the most eco- friendly way. As we know, most cleaning products come in thick plastic containers. Cleancult helps us keep our houses and our planet clean by using a refill system.
Here’s how it works…
Cleancult will send you a box of products (Dishwashing tablets, liquid hand soap, all-purpose cleaning spray, liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, soap bars, and wool balls) along with reusable bottles for each product. Each product is labeled to make it easy to pair the product with the bottle. Once you pair each product to each bottle, you simply pour the liquid in and begin using.
Cleancult offers four smells: classic, floral, fruity, and exotic. They also offer four colors: off white, mosaic, periwinkle, and black. I chose floral and mosaic. The colors blend perfectly in with my kitchen, so much that we leave them out the whole time. They do not look like the big, bulky, plastic cleaning products we grew up with and often hid under the sink. This allows for easy access at all times.
The floral smells range from lavender to honeysuckle to aloe. The fragrances are subtle. You can smell the natural ingredients.
Each product was efficient and got the job done. I have sensitive skin, so I was a little nervous to try the laundry detergent. However, I had no reaction to the product. My clothes came out fresh.
The only product from the bundle I was disappointed with was the dishwashing tablets. I have to use two tablets for each wash. And I don’t love the fragrance after the dishes are washed. One of their other scent choices might be better here.
Each product comes in 100% recycled carton containers. The only downside to this is a possible leaky arrival if the product gets damaged en route to your house. Such as mine. However, the carton held up pretty well and I was still able to use the all-purpose cleaner.
Overall, with great smells, effective products and most importantly, eco- friendly, Cleancult is a great option for our eco- friendly warriors to try out. After your house is sparkling clean and the product has run dry, you do not need to worry about dirtying up Mother Earth’s home with our garbage. You can recycle the containers. Furthermore, if your local recycling doesn’t allow for you to recycle their products, Cleancult offers a recycling program where they will recycle it for you!
