Use Bar Soap

Choose bar soap and skip the plastic packaging. In addition, the primary ingredient in liquid soaps is water. The bulky plastic packaging is an environmental scourge and the weight of the water generates a substantial transportation footprint. One study, performed by the Institute of Environmental Engineering, determined that liquid soaps require five times more energy than bar soap for formulation and 20 times more energy for packing. Reduce your carbon footprint and choose bar soap. There are also excellent shampoo and conditioner bars available as replacements for liquid versions of those products.
